FRESHMEN CLASS Homecoming float meeting in the Media Center during lunch today. Bring your own lunch this time; we'll provide pizza next time when we know how many will be building the float. Reminder: If you don't help build the float, you can't ride the float. Morrison

DECA MEETING today at lunch in Mr. Stoehr's room. We will be discussing fall conference and homecoming. Bring your own lunch. If you have not paid your $25 for dues you need to do so by Friday! Stoehr

FCCLA Homecoming Car Show is just around the corner. The car, truck and bike show is Wednesday, October 15 immediately after school. Come show off your vehicle in the following categories: Worst Clunker, Bass War, Best Custom, Best Stock, Best Paint Job, Best Motorcycle, and Best Staff. Entry fee is $5.00 per entry; entry forms may be picked up at the front desk and returned to room #259. Entries must be in by Tuesday, October 14. Don't delay; get your entry in for great prizes. A REMINDER to all speech and debate and drama students: We will be building the homecoming float from 5:00 to 7:00 on Friday and again at 3:00 on Sunday. Please check with Mrs. Thornton or your team captains for details. There will be a duet and humor interp meeting at lunch today in Mrs. Thornton's room. Thornton

PSAT: The PSAT test will be administered on Wednesday, Oct. 15 beginning at 9:00am in Room 259. Juniors who have earned a GPA of 3.6 and above should consider taking this test. Please see your counselor for further information. The cost of this test is $13.00, payable to Ms. King in the main office of RHS. Payment is due Oct. 15. After that date, a late fee payment will be accepted but will be increased to $20.00. NOTE: (Sophomores with a 3.8 GPA and above may want to consider taking this test for practice, but will NOT be eligible for National Merit Scholarship consideration. HEY RHS! Next week is homecoming!!! The theme is We Will ROCK U! Join in and show your spirit. DRESS UP DAY on Tuesday is "Back to School" Blues day. So, WEAR your Pajamas and sunglasses. We will have prizes for the BEST DRESSED. The Parade is next Thursday, so get your floats ready. Richmond
