STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS RIVERTON HS FRI., 4/1/11 ACTIVITIES: Today – Boys Soccer @ home vs Natrona, JV/V, 4/6pm Today – Girls Soccer @ Natrona, JV/V, 4/6pm Saturday – Boys/Girls Track @ home, Roy Peck, 9am Saturday – Boys Soccer @ home vs Gillette, JV/V, 1/3pm Saturday – Girls Soccer @ Gillette, JV/V, 1/3pm SPRING TENNIS will begin Monday, April 4th. All are welcome to come out for this fun sport! No previous experience or equipment is necessary! Meet @ 3:45 in the HS commons. Make sure you have a physical and fill out insurance papers if this is your first sport this school year. Reddon SPAGHETTI DINNER - Key Club is holding a spaghetti dinner on Tuesday, April 5 to help fund our service projects. It will be at the Career Center from 5 to 7 PM. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for kids. The meal will include both meat and veggie sauces, salad, bread sticks, drink and ice cream. Come out and support Key Club. See any member for tickets, or ask Mrs. Peart. Hughes SENIORS: Jostens will be here to deliver graduation announcements next Thursday, April 7. You need to pick up your orders in the Media Center from 11:00-1:00. Asay-Glenn CHOIR: Any students interested in auditioning for next year's Concert Choir need to see Mr. Dalton sometime next week to set up an audition time. Also, any students wanting to audition for Jazz Choir need to sign up for an audition time next week in the choir room. Dalton SCHOLARSHIP: The Adeline Neilson Scholarship foundation is offering scholarships ranging from $1,500 to $3,000 to seniors attending college, trade or technical school. You must have economic need, good grades, good citizenship, etc. Deadline is April 22. Applications are available on the guidance counter. Guidance FINAL DAY- today is the final day to turn in your MY Story, MY Life page to be included in the RHS Book. Please come in and talk to us for the details. Wolverine Readers can also earn wolverine dollars for this. Maulik BEADING: After school in the Media Center is the RHS Beading Class. Come and learn to make earrings, bags, moccasins, and learn about the culture behind it. We provide all materials and teachers. It’s fun and open to students, parents, anyone who is in District #25. Come and bring a friend every Monday from 3:35-5:30pm. If you have questions please contact Mr. Hernandez or Mrs. Maulik. Another contact is Mrs. Baltes at Ashgrove. (We have ALL ages). Please head to the guidance office and sign up. You may donate at age 16 with parent permission. Everyone must bring a picture ID with you. The drive is on Wednesday, April 6 from 2 to 6 PM. Hughes BOOK DRIVE - Key Club is holding a "gently used" children's book drive for the Kiwanis Books and Breakfast event on April 16. Please go through your stash at home and bring books that are toddler through about 5th grade. There is a box at the front desk in the high school so let's see if we can fill it up. State finalists include: Robert Peck, Sean Thornton, Taylor Hobart, Dallin Cooper, Taylar Stagner, Mitchell Thornton, Jaden Brummond and Jace Flanagan. Great job RHS! Thornton
