TRACK: All students that didn't make the track meeting can pick up a handbook and schedule from Coach Gopp, Coach Bell, Coach Parry, Coach Miller or Coach Garcia. Track practice starts Monday. Dress warm - we hope to be outside. Gopp

THE CULINARY ARTS PROSTART COMPETITION was held in Jackson, WY Feb. 12 & 14. Congratulations to Chans Woolery and Jimmy Johnson for being awarded the silver medal for the West Mex contest. The Management Team; James Jeude, Jessica Thompson, Marisela Roman, and JD Rockne received the bronze medal placing third in that event. Each of the team members received a $500 scholarship from Johnson & Wales University; the scholarship is renewable for four years with a total value of $2000. Good job! Rivers

The scholarships are available for: "Self-Defense and Assault Prevention" and "I Choose Me." If you think you might be interested in participating in either of these classes and would like to attend stop my Mrs. Hughes' office in the Career Center and pick up a scholarship application. SCHOLARSHIPS: Local P.E.O. Chapter AP scholarship applications are available in the guidance office. Value ranges from $300 - $ 600. Deadline is April 15th. The Scott Memorial Scholarship applications are available in the guidance department. Award amount is $2,500, deadline is March 15th. Guidance

COME TO THE 26th Annual Close Up Night at Pizza Hut. It’s all the pizza you can eat and all the pop you can drink in a 50 minute session. Sessions are at 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 and cost is $6.00. This is a school sanctioned activity so school behavior rules are in effect. Make plans for you and your friends to come to Pizza Hut tonight for some great pizza and a great time. Chouinard

The shot only costs $10 and public health needs to know by Wednesday so that they can order the vaccine for the Feb. 20 clinic. If you wait to get the shot it will cost you $100. Hughes

SKI TRIP to Jackson on Feb. 9. - You need to get your paperwork in for the ski trip by noon on Wednesday. You can turn your info in at the office, or to Mrs. Hughes in the Career Center. If you need the paperwork you may pick it up at the front desk or outside Mrs. Hughes office in the Career Center. Hughes

MENINGITIS SHOT CLINIC - Seniors, if you are planning to go away to school or to the military next year, you need to get your shot to protect you against meningitis. The permission slips were in the most recent school newsletter that was mailed to your house. If you do not have one, stop by the nurse's office and get one from Mr. DeClue. The shot only costs $10 and public health needs to know by Wednesday so that they can order the vaccine for the Feb. 20 clinic. If you wait to get the shot it will cost you $100. Hughes

DODGEBALL: Hey, it’s that time of year again; start preparing your dodge ball teams. Forms are at the office and the tournament will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19 after the basketball game. Come join in the fun and compete for the title of dodge ball champion. Richmond

FCCLA- There will be a work night for State projects Tuesday in room 259. The following people need to meet at: 3:45-4:00 Kia Steele, Kalie Waterson, & Anika Greenhalgh, 3:45-4:45 Culinary Teams, 4:00-4:15 Lalauni Keele & Michael Goich, 4:15-4:30 Marie Kranz, 4:30-5:15 Parliamentary Procedure Team Members. If there are other students that did not sign up for a time at last Monday's meeting please meet in room #259 at 3:40 so we can fit you in a time slot. If you do not show up or make arrangements with Mrs. Rivers you will not be allowed to attend the State FCCLA Convention in Cheyenne. All entries must be turned in by Friday, Feb. 15.
