CASPER COLLEGE Division of Business is offering a “BUSINESS AWARENESS DAY” on Thursday, October 16, at Casper College. The theme will be “Entrepreneurship”. If anyone is interested in attending this event or would like more information, please contact Ms. Asay in room 4 at the Career Center or call 856-6557 ext. 4008. We will leave the Career Center at 7 am and return by 6:30 pm. You must sign up by Friday, 10/3. Asay

PSAT: The PSAT test will be administered on Wednesday, Oct. 15 beginning at 9:00am in Room 259 (Mrs. Rivers). Juniors who have earned a grade point average of 3.6 and above should consider taking this test. Just what is the PSAT? This test is the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. It is not required for admission to colleges, nor does it increase your opportunities for scholarships. Please see your counselor for further information. The cost of this test is $13.00, payable to Ms. King in the Main Office of Riverton High School. Payment is due Oct. 15. After that date, a late fee payment will be accepted but will be increased to $20.00. NOTE: (Sophomores with a grade point average 3.8 and above may want to consider taking this test for practice, but will NOT be eligible for National Merit Scholarship consideration.
