FCCLA Homecoming Car Show (car, truck and bike) is Wednesday, October 15 immediately after school. Come show off your vehicle in the following categories: Worst Clunker, Bass War, Best Custom, Best Stock, Best Paint Job, Best Motorcycle, and Best Staff. Entry fee is $5.00 per entry; entry forms may be picked up at the front desk and returned to room #259. Entries must be in by Tuesday, October 14. Don't delay; get your entry in for great prizes. A REMINDER to all speech and debate and drama students: We will be building the homecoming float from 5:00 to 7:00 today and again at 3:00 on Sunday. Please check with Mrs. Thornton or your team captains for details.

PSAT: The PSAT test will be administered on Wednesday, Oct. 15 beginning at 9:00am in Room 259. Juniors who have earned a GPA of 3.6 and above should consider taking this test. Please see your counselor for further information. The cost of this test is $13.00, payable to Ms. King in the office. Payment is due Oct. 15. After that date, a late fee payment will be accepted but will be increased to $20.00. NOTE: (Sophomores with a 3.8 GPA and above may want to consider taking this test for practice, but will NOT be eligible for National Merit Scholarship consideration.
