RIVERTON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS FRI., 4/4/08

ACTIVITIES:
Today – Boys Soccer @ Laramie, JV/V, 3:00/5:00pm

SENIOR MALE STUDENTS planning on attending UW, there are three Balanced Man Scholarships available in the guidance office. Deadline is June 13th. Guidance

WY YOUTH AGES 14-17, a great free opportunity awaits you! If you are interested in outdoor recreation apply for the 6 day camp to be held August 3 - 8th in Dubois, WY. See guidance for details! Guidance

SENIORS: are you interested in eventually being self employed? Rocky Mountain Wash is offering a $500 scholarship. Deadline is May 1st. Guidance

ENERGY JOBS: Anyone interested in attending a career tour to the Jonah Field on Wednesday, April 9 please pick up forms from Mrs. Santee. They are due back on Monday! Santee

STUDENTS: The C.A.N. room will be closed during lunch on Monday, April 7th. Eckley

JUNIORS: Prom decorating starts Monday though Friday at lunch and after-school in the room off of the weight room. Remember you must work six times in order to be considered for royalty. Gray-Sinner

PROM TICKETS will go on sale Monday though the week at the front desk in the morning, after lunch and after school. $15.00 single and $30 for couple. Gray-Sinner

WORK EXPERIENCE: Mandatory class meeting Wednesday, April 9 at 7:45 a.m.

PROM: If you don't have your prom dress yet, check out the Prom Closet! We have some beautiful dresses this year, and some great dress clothes for the guys. The Prom Closet is located between SSC and Comp Ed. Hammer

MARCH OF DIMES “March for Babies" walk takes place at Lander City Park, April, 26th at 9 AM. If you are interested in joining Riverton High School's team please see Ms. Nimmo in the academic coaches' room, #106 for details. Nimmo

SPLASH is selling after prom tickets at the high school office next week for $5. Brown

ALL BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYERS who have not turned in their equipment must do so Tuesday right after school in the equipment room. If you fail to do so you will be put on the fines list. Barlow

STUDENT COUNCIL is celebrating the "A"s of April this month. The "A"s are the achievements of RHS students in academics, activities (clubs), arts, and athletics. Listen for announcements and sign ups for faculty v. student kickball, powder puff football, a talent showcase, and student council elections among other events. Next week is Academic week, featuring quiz bowls, student of the day, and a NERD dress up day on Wednesday. Put on your thinking caps and celebrate the epic achievements of Riverton High School.
