RHS Student Announcements

RIVERTON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS THUR., 4/24/08

ACTIVITIES:
Friday – Track @ Thermopolis
Friday – Track @ Casper
Saturday – Girls Soccer @ Laramie, JV/V, 1/3pm
Saturday – Boys Soccer @ home vs Laramie, JV/V, 1/3pm

SENIORS: Graduation letters were mailed out. If you did not receive one please see Mrs. Weber at the Career Center for a copy. Weber

HEY STUDENTS - the CAN room now has ROCK BAND, a WII, and many more games, stop by and check it out. Eckley

GIRLS BASKERBALL meeting today in Mr. Miller's room at lunch. The meeting will cover summer activities. If you plan on playing next year, your attendance is expected. Lunch will be provided. Miller

WRESTLING: There will be a wrestling meeting today at lunch, 12:00 sharp, in Coach Parry's room. All wrestlers need to attend. If you are planning on wrestling next year your attendance is mandatory. No exceptions, if you will be gone, you need to talk to Coach Parry before the meeting. Parry

KEY CLUB will meet this week at 7 PM. Please be one time as we have much planning to do for the month ahead. Hughes/Peart

ALL VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS need to make sure they have turned in ALL their equipment by Thursday, May 1st or you will serve lunch detention until it is all in!! Weber

STUDENTS: Walk America is Saturday the 26th, if you have a donation envelope please get it to Ms. Nimmo today. Nimmo

JAZZ CHOIR: Any students interested in auditioning for next year's Jazz Choir need to sign up for a time in the choir room. Auditions will be Wednesday, April 30 after school or Thursday, May 1 starting at 6:30 p.m. If you have any questions concerning the auditions please see Mr. Dalton. Dalton

CONCERT CHOIR: Any students wanting to try out for Concert Choir need to see Mr. Dalton as soon as possible and arrange for an audition time. Dalton

LOST: Ms. Stanley misplaced her phone on Friday. It is an LG Envy. It may have a pink polka dotted cover on it. She is offering a 50 dollar reward for its safe return. She has a very special video of her grandmother on it and would appreciate having it back. Flanagan

STUDENTS: Please remember that leaving campus without permission is considered truancy and will come with truancy school consequences. You cannot leave the building during the school day without checking out from the front office with parent permission. Your safety is our responsibility and we don't want anything to happen to you!! Mrs. Flanagan

TALENT SHOWCASE ASSEMBLY has been rescheduled to May 7th. Office

FACTS OF THE DAY: It used to be the practice at festivals to grease a pig and let it loose among blindfolded contestants. The person who successfully caught the greased pig could keep it…and so that person would “bring home the bacon.” Hughes
