RIVERTON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS THUR., 4/10/08

ACTIVITIES:

Saturday – Track @ Rock Springs, JV
Saturday – Boys Soccer @ Cheyenne East, JV/V, 9/11am
Saturday – Girls Soccer @ home vs Cheyenne East, JV/V, 12/2pm

JUNIORS: Prom decorating goes though Friday at lunch and after-school in the room off of the weight room. Remember you must work six times in order to be considered for royalty. Gray-Sinner

PROM TICKETS are on sale though the week at the front desk in the morning, after lunch and after school. $15.00 single and $30 for couple. Gray-Sinner

PROM: If you don't have your prom dress yet, check out the Prom Closet! We have some beautiful dresses this year, and some great dress clothes for the guys. The Prom Closet is located between SSC and Comp Ed. Hammer

SPLASH is selling after prom tickets at the high school office all this week for $5. Don’t wait; they will be $10 at the Career Center! You must arrive by 2am. Brown

SKILLS USA meeting today at 12:10 in Mr. Gopp’s room at the Career Center. Gopp

SENIORS: The WY Youth Soccer Assoc. is offering 3 - 6 scholarships ranging from $500 - $1,000 each. You do not have to be playing high school soccer. You must have a 2.0 GPA and plan on attending a 2 or 4 year college. Deadline is April 30th. Stop by guidance for more information. Guidance

DECA meeting today at lunch. We'll discuss fundraising and final details for nationals. Everyone attend. Stoehr

WOLVERINE READERS: The public library is hosting a poetry slam on Thursday, April 17th. If you participate, you can earn two Wolverine Dollars. Stop by the MC to find out more information. Morrison

STUDENTS who are interested in taking Yearbook next year need to pick up an application from Ms. Kirkland and fill it out by Friday. Thanks. Kirkland

KEY CLUB will meet tonight at 7pm at the Career Center. We need everyone there so we can get organized for this weekend's literacy breakfast. We also need to discuss our fundraisers. See you tonight! Manning

CLOSE UP: there will be a Close Up reorganizational meeting Monday at lunch in Mr. Chouinard’s room for all those students who will be participating in Close Up next year or future years. We will be setting up our rummage sale to be held on Saturday, 4/19 and discussing next year’s trip and fundraisers. Any student interested in joining is encouraged to attend. Chouinard
