RIVERTON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS WED., 4/23/08

ACTIVITIES:

SENIORS: Applications are available in the guidance department for the "Say Thanks to a Vet" Scholarship. The value is $500, deadline is July 1. Guidance

SENIORS: Graduation letters were mailed out. If you did not receive one please see Mrs. Weber at the Career Center for a copy. Weber

C.A.N.- Hey students the CAN room now has ROCK BAND, a WII, and many more games, stop by and check it out. Eckley

CWC UPWARD BOUND students meet today during lunch in room 4 at the Career Center. Nirider

SPRING TENNIS begins Monday, April 28. Meet after school at the CWC courts. Bauder

UW UPWARD BOUND/MSIP students meet today during lunch in Mrs. Newlin’s room. Newlin

GIRLS BASKERBALL meeting Thursday in Mr. Miller's room at lunch. The meeting will cover summer activities. If you plan on playing next year, your attendance is expected. Lunch will be provided. Miller

WRESTLING: There will be a wrestling meeting Thursday at lunch, 12:00 sharp, in Coach Parry's room. All wrestlers need to attend. If you are planning on wrestling next year your attendance is mandatory. No exceptions, if you will be gone Thursday you need to talk to Coach Parry before the meeting. Parry

KEY CLUB will meet this week at 7 PM. Please be one time as we have much planning to do for the month ahead. Hughes/Peart

LOST: Ms. Stanley misplaced her phone on Friday. It is an LG Envy. It may have a pink polka dotted cover on it. She is offering a 50 dollar reward for its safe return. She has a very special video of her grandmother on it and would appreciate having it back. Flanagan

STUDENTS: Please remember that leaving campus without permission is considered truancy and will come with truancy school consequences. You cannot leave the building during the school day without checking out from the front office with parent permission. Your safety is our responsibility and we don't want anything to happen to you!! FACTS OF THE DAY: Fish is actually good for your brain because of the mineral zinc it contains. If you are low on zinc it can affect your memory and thinking. Hughes
