SKILLS USA meeting Thursday at 12:10 in Mr. Gopp’s room at the Career Center. Gopp

MRS. BELL is looking for ball people to work the boy’s soccer games on both Friday, at 3:30/6:00 and Saturday at 10:30/1:00. FFA: great job at the State Convention last week. Champion Quiz Bowl team, High individual Chelsey Porter, Gold Proficiency winner Courtney Porter, Silver Jessica Crippen, Bronze Kaydee Overy, 4th in Creed Speaking Chelsey Porter, 7th in Agronomy, and State FFA Sentinel Courtney Porter, Sarah Weliever received $2100 in scholarships. FACTS OF THE DAY: Ever wonder how Hush Puppies got their name? Years ago, pieces of the fried cornmeal batter were fed to hungry dogs that begged for food. After the scraps were given to the dogs, the owner would say “Now hush, puppy.” Hughes
