RIVERTON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS TUES., 4/1/08

ACTIVITIES:
Thursday – Girls/Boys Soccer @ Lander, JV/V, 3:30/5:30pm

CAREER INTERNSHIP STUDENTS: Don't forget the meeting Wednesday in Mrs. Santee's room. You can turn in your log sheets at that time as well. Santee

WORK EXPERIENCE STUDENTS: Your assignment and March wage and hour report forms are due Wednesday. Santee

COME ONE COME ALL: The culinary arts class is holding a restaurant at the Elks Lodge Thursday from 5-8pm. The cost is $8.50/person and $30 for a family of four. To get tickets contact a culinary arts student or Pam Rivers. You may also pay at the door. Rivers

SENIOR ART STUDENTS: A new scholarship opportunity awaits you! Stop by guidance to pick up the Buffalo Bill scholarship application. Two $500 scholarships available, deadline is May 15th. Guidance

CWC UPWARD BOUND students meet Wednesday during lunch in room 4 at the Career Center. Nirider

UW UPWARD BOUND/MSIP students meet Wednesday during lunch in Mrs. Newlin’s room. Newlin

SKILLS USA meeting on Thursday at 12:10 in Mr. Gopp’s room. Gopp

JUNIOR CLASS MEMBERS: there will be a poster making meeting at lunch today in the art room. Remember, in order to be royalty you must participate in 6 activities for prom. This will count as one. Gray-Sinner

HELP: Mrs. Bell is looking for help with the Roy Peck Track Invite. You will not have to work full days, field event helpers are needed. If you are interested please let Mrs. Bell know in the Activities office. The Track Invite is Saturday, April 5 at 9:00am. Remember - $8.00 per hour. Bell

KEY CLUB - Reminder that anyone who made pledges for COPI that Mrs. Hughes needs your money by Thursday morning a 9 AM. If you have a question, see Mrs. Hughes. Hughes

ENERGY JOBS: Anyone interested in attending a career tour to the Jonah Field on Wednesday, April 9 please pick up forms from Mrs. Santee. They are due back on Monday! Santee

FACTS OF THE DAY: Leo Hirshfield brought his secret recipe for tootsie roll candy to New York in 1896. He named it after his daughter who was nicknamed tootsie. Hughes
