THE SKI TRIP to White Pine has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 24. If you were signed up last time, just be sure to sign up at the office. If you were unable to attend last month and can go this time, pick up the information at the front desk at the HS or from Mrs. Hughes at the Career Center. Pinedale has had lots of snow so the skiing should be great. Hughes

CLOSE UP: KTRZ money and forms need to be turned in today during a lunch meeting in Mr. Chouinard’s room. This is a mandatory meeting, no excuses, be in attendance. We will collect all KTRZ materials, collect final payments from those going to D.C. this year, set up KTRZ Radio Day work schedules and set up Pizza Hut Pizza Night. All members need to attend this meeting, bring a lunch as this meeting will take most of the lunch hour.

ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB MEMBERS please attend today’s meeting after school. We will be shipping the recycled cell phones and planning our next activity. Anyone interested in joining the Environmental club is welcome to attend.

SUMMER EXCHANGE: Riverton Rotary Club is researching exchange programs. Students will spend 3 weeks exploring another country and then their “host brother/sister” returns home with them for a 3 week period. Exchanges are typically in June, July and August. Students must be between the ages of 15-19. Applications for this program are due by the end of January. If interested contact Lori Ridgway at 855-2325 or 850-7803. Guidance

ALL SOPHOMORE CLASS MEETING in the Media Center during homeroom on Monday. We will be discussing fundraising ideas. Please come and give us your input. We only have this year to earn all of the money we need to pay for our junior prom. Please check in with your homeroom class and then meet in the Media Center. Iden

Hey RHS! There are several nice new recycling containers throughout the high school and one in the career center. These are for plastic bottles only. Please do your part and put plastic bottles in these great new containers. There are containers in the senior and freshmen locker areas, one by the band/choir hall and another one in the commons. There is also a container in the commons at the career center.

TODAY’S TIDBIT: Soybean oil is the most widely used vegetable oil. It is found in margarine’s, salad dressings, canned foods, sauces, baked goods, and processed fried foods. These foods should be limited in your diet to stay healthy.
