EXCHANGE PROGRAM: Riverton Rotary Club has set up a “Summer Exchange” program. Students spend 3 weeks exploring another country and then their “host brother/sister” return home with them for a 3 week period. Exchanges are typically in June, July and August. Students must be between the ages of 15-19. Applications are due by the end of January. For more information contact Lori Ridgway at 855-2325 or 850-7803. Office

CAREER INTERNSHIP STUDENTS: Please see Mrs. Santee to pick up paperwork. You are responsible for setting up your own location. Forms are due back to Mrs. Santee by Monday! Santee

NEW WORK EXPERIENCE STUDENTS: Permission forms are due to Mrs. Santee today! If you didn't receive yours in the mail, please see Mrs. Santee ASAP. Don't forget the meeting for new students Wednesday, Jan. 14. Santee

CAREER PORTFOLIOS: If you turned in a portfolio last semester, please come pick it up from Mrs. Santee. Santee

I NEED TIMERS for the Boys Swim meet vs Natrona on Thursday, Jan 15th. The meet will begin at 4:00. If you are interested please get a hold of Mrs. Bell in the Activities Office. Bell

SENIORS who took Richmond's government class for the fall semester, please stop by her room to discuss plans for the State We the People competition and to pick up your picture from the district contest. Richmond

KIWANIS STARS OF TOMORROW forms are available at the high school and Career Center offices. Entries need to be returned by February 2. Great Prizes to be won. Pick up a form for all the information. Office

HEY RHS! Student Council placed brand new recycling containers in the high school and at the Career Center. These boxes are for empty plastic bottles only. Please use them and help RHS go green!!! Richmond

CAN PEER LEADERS meeting on Monday, January 12 in the Media Center beginning during home room through lunch. Attendance mandatory if we want to begin 5th grade peer leadership on Wednesday. Bring your own lunch!!!! Reddon

TODAY’S TIDBIT: Everyone should eat a variety of foods every day. This means that you must include foods from each food group because no single food can supply all nutrients that your growing body needs. Try to eat many foods of many different colors and textures in your diet.
