STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS RIVERTON HS THUR., 1/8/09

ACTIVITIES:

Friday/Saturday – Boys Swim @ Powell, JV/V, 5pm,10am
Friday/Saturday – BBB/GBB @ home, 10/JV/V
Saturday – BBB/GBB @ Rock Springs, 9th, 12:00/1:45
Saturday – Wrestling @ Sheridan, JV/V, 1pm

EXCHANGE PROGRAM: Riverton Rotary Club has set up a “Summer Exchange” program. Students spend 3 weeks exploring another country and then their “host brother/sister” return home with them for a 3 week period. Exchanges are typically in June, July and August. Students must be between the ages of 15-19. Applications are due by the end of January. For more information contact Lori Ridgway at 855-2325 or 850-7803. Office

DECA MEMBERS - state is less than one month away. We will have a meeting today at lunch to discuss our plans for state. If you have not yet paid your dues bring $25 to the meeting. Unpaid members will be dropped from the roster and WILL NOT be allowed to participate at state. Stoehr

CAREER INTERNSHIP STUDENTS: Please see Mrs. Santee to pick up paperwork. You are responsible for setting up your own location. Forms are due back to Mrs. Santee by Monday! Santee

NEW WORK EXPERIENCE STUDENTS: Permission forms are due to Mrs. Santee by Friday! If you didn't receive yours in the mail, please see Mrs. Santee ASAP. Don't forget the meeting for new students Wednesday, Jan. 14.

SENIORS who took Richmond's government class for the fall semester, please stop by her room to discuss plans for the State We the People competition and to pick up your picture from the district contest. Richmond

CLOSE UP MEETING today to turn in KTRZ ad forms and money. You must check in with Mr. Chouinard before school, at lunch or after school. Please be there at one of these times. Chouinard

KIWANIS STARS OF TOMORROW forms are available at the high school and Career Center offices. Entries need to be returned by February 2. Great Prizes to be won. Pick up a form for all the information. Office

KEY CLUB will meet tonight at 7 PM in the Career Center. There will be a board meeting at 6PM, so please bring your dinner and be on time, if you are a board member. Hughes/Peart

HEY RHS! Student Council placed brand new recycling containers in the high school and at the Career Center. These boxes are for empty plastic bottles only. Please use them and help RHS go green!!! Richmond
