ACTIVITIES:
Today – GBB/BBB vs Rock Springs, 9th, 4/5:30pm
Tuesday – Boys Swimming @ Green River, JV/V, 4pm

SENIORS: Please put your nominations for Senior Class Graduation Speaker, in the box located at the Main Office. All nominations must be in by Thursday. Also, seniors who sent in a late cap and gown order please do not worry if you receive a letter from Josten’s saying your order was too late. The cap and gown order has been taken care of but each student is responsible for anything else ordered through Josten’s. Adels/Asay

ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB meeting today after school in Ms. Miller’s room. Miller

SCHOLARSHIPS: The Wind River Chapter of Pheasants Forever has a $500 scholarship available to seniors wishing to improve wildlife habitat. You must have a 2.5 GPA your senior year. Deadline is April 30. Students interested in pursuing a post-secondary career in the oil and gas industry, ConocoPhillips is offering a $3,000 scholarship. Majors could include Engineering, Computer Science, Welding, Computer Aided Drafting, Electrical/Instrumentation Technologies, etc. Deadline is March 1st. IN FEBRUARY JOIN OUR “READING OLYMPICS. “ Ask yourself? How great do I want to be?
*This contest is open to EVERYONE (students) at RHS. You do not have to be a Wolverine Reader to enter!
*Checkout and read books from our Media Center.
* Log the title, pages and the author on your chart.
*On Monday, March 1st, we will tally the titles and announce the winner of our Reading Olympics!
*1st place winner will earn a $25.00 gift card, 2nd place $15.00 gift card, and 3rd place $10.00 gift card.
*For every 8 books you check out and read you are eligible for an award stamp. If you get all 5 stamps you can earn additional wolverine dollars, and a club lettering point.
*If you wish to earn Wolverine Dollars, fill out the response sheets for each book.
