FCCLA: Anyone interested in joining a dynamic, fun organization that can lead to new friendships and lots of travel come to the 1st FCCLA meeting today in room #259 Mrs. Rivers' room, immediately after school. This meeting will be a very short meeting with preliminary plans for Home Coming. See you today right after school. Snacks will be available. Rivers

SENIORS: We will have a lunch meeting on Thursday in room 4A at the Career Center. We will be discussing the homecoming float, class motto, class flower, etc. Please bring a lunch and lots of great ideas! Asay/Adels

JUNIORS: If you would like to qualify for the 2011 National Merit Scholarship Program and recognition and college scholarships you will need to take the PSAT in October. For more information log onto www.nationalmerit.org. Juniors and Seniors: The US Senate offers the opportunity for you to go to Washington, D.C., for a brief on-site introduction to the federal government and the Senate. 2 juniors or seniors from WY will be selected. ACT test prep for the Sept. 12th test will be available for those needing help in math, in particular Geometry, during the Math Tutoring sessions next week. Check on the posters in the hallways or with any math teacher for times and locations. Williams

WOLVERINE READERS: We will have the Wolverine Reader Club annual kickoff party in the Media Center during lunch on Thursday, Sept. 10th. RHS WALKERS - starting today anyone who is interested in walking during lunch is invited to meet out on the track at 12:15 each day to see how many laps you can walk in the next 20 minutes. There will be a log book outside of Mrs. Hammer’s room where you can record your laps each day. Let's see how far we can walk collectively during the 1st semester. RHS Health Committee

STUDENTS: Please do not use the middle school parking lot as a drive through to avoid the intersection at major and sunset. It causes huge safety issues for the middle school students. RPD will be citing anyone caught using the RMS parking lot as a roadway. RPD
