ANY SENIOR wanting to participate in an essay contest regarding how the American Universities violate the constitutional guarantees of free expression need to stop by the guidance office for further details. The winner receives a $5,000 scholarship and a trip to Philadelphia. Deadline is Nov. 6th. Guidance

SENIORS: Scholarship information is available for seniors with a GPA of 3.5 or higher that are interested in the University of Colorado Denver. Stop by the guidance office for further details. Deadline is March 15th.

BLOOD DRIVE - It is that time again. Wednesday, Oct. 7 Key Club will be sponsoring their first Blood Drive of the 2009-2010 school year. It will start at 2 PM and run till 7 PM in the Career Center. This year, for the very first time, you may donate with parent permission at age 16. The parent permission letters are at the counselor's office. Be sure that you meet the listed criteria before you sign up. If you are 17 yrs. old you will need the parent permission slip as well. You must bring the signed permission slip and a photo ID with you to the blood drive. All ages must bring their ID. If you have traveled to certain countries of had a tattoo or piercing recently you may be unable to donate. Key Club

FCCLA: There will be an FCCLA meeting on Tuesday right after school in Mrs. Rivers' room #259. You must come to this meeting to be able to attend the FCCLA Fall State Meeting in Casper in October. Even if you have not been to a FCCLA meeting yet this year come and find out what FCCLA is all about. Rivers

PICTURES: Randy Lehman will be here during homeroom to take school pictures. Teachers will have the list of students to be released. Check with your homeroom teacher to see if you are on that list. Office
