RHS Student Announcments

RIVERTON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS TUES., 3/11/08

ACTIVITIES:

WORK EXPERIENCE STUDENTS meet on Wednesday. CAREER INTERNSHIP STUDENTS: Assignment due Wednesday. Santee

THE SPRING KEY CLUB BLOOD DRIVE will be on Thursday from 2 to 7 PM. There are still slots for donors and we would love to fill up the sign-up sheet. Please stop by the nurse's office and sign up. If you need a permission slip, Mr. DeClue has some. You must bring a signed permission slip if you are 17. Everyone must bring an ID in order to donate. Be sure to also pick up a sheet with instructions and limitations. See you at the Career Center on Thursday. Hughes

CRUISE FOR YOUR SCHOOL – Fremont Motors and RHS are running a combined fundraiser. All this week you can go to Fremont Motors to test drive a vehicle. Must be 18! 17 and under, you need to encourage your parents to go test drive. There will be no pressure to buy, you will need to fill out a short form before driving. Just tell them you are there to “Cruise for the School”. For every test drive, Fremont Motors will donate $20 to RHS athletics. Our goal is 100 test drives. Then on April 15 from 8am-5pm, Fremont Motors will bring cars up to the high school parking lot for more test drives. Same rules apply, must be 18 to test drive, 17 and under need to encourage parents to come up and test drive for you. Let’s meet our goal! Bauder

TRACK: the last day to join the RHS track team will be Wednesday. Pick up paper work from Coach Gopp. Gopp

WOLVERINE READERS: If you choose to read and respond to a book off our newest book display/book list, you can earn double the Wolverine Dollars this month. See Mrs. Morrison for details. Morrison

CWC UPWARD BOUND students meet Wednesday during lunch in room 4 at the Career Center. Nirider

UW UPWARD BOUND/MSIP students meet Wednesday during lunch in Mrs. Newlin’s room. Newlin

FBLA MEMBERS: we will NOT have an FBLA meeting today. Please turn in your permission forms for Cheyenne to me by this afternoon. Asay

SKILLS USA meeting Thursday at 12:10 in Mr. Gopp’s room. Gopp

DECA meeting Thursday at lunch. We will discuss fundraisers so all members must attend. Stoehr
