RIVERTON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS MON., 1/28/08

ACTIVITIES:
Today – BBB/GBB @ WIHS, 9th, 5/6:30pm
Tuesday – BBB/GBB @ home vs Lander, 9/JV/V, 4/5:45/7:30pm

LOST AND FOUND: the office will be placing all lost and found items on a table in front of the high school office. If you have lost or misplaced anything, please stop by and take a look. Whatever is left on the table by the end of January will be donated. Office

CASPER COLLEGE will be hosting an Application Day at Riverton High School on Tuesday beginning at 2:30. If you are planning to attend Casper College, please stop by the Guidance Office and sign up for time to meet with the Admissions Representative. Guidance

WESTERN WYOMING COLLEGE: An admissions representative will be available in the Guidance Office today at 2:00. Anyone interested in pursuing an occupation in the energy industry, diesel mechanics, as well as others is encouraged to attend. Guidance

NHS MEETING Tuesday at 7:40 in Mr. Stoehr's room. We will be discussing our service project at Homestead. All members must attend. If you cannot attend please let Mr. Stoehr or Ms. Kirkland know ahead of time. Stoehr

DECA MEETING Tuesday at lunch in Mr. Stoehr's room. All state participants must attend as we will be discussing the details of the state conference. Stoehr

FCCLA MEETING will be today at noon in room #259. We will have Papa Murphy's pizza for lunch and discuss our state projects. Please bring your dues if you have not paid them yet! Rivers

FMLA will meet in Mrs. Sower’s room at lunch on Tuesday. Mrs. Gay Hughes will be speaking with us about the Health Care Career Fair coming up in Casper, as well as some other opportunities. Please bring your lunch and join us. Sowers

SCHOLARSHIPS: Seniors there are several scholarship deadlines coming up. There are over 20 scholarships with deadlines in February. Don't miss out, stop by guidance now! WY Military Officer's Association of America is offering a $1,000. The applicant must have a career goal of serving as an officer in any branch of the US military. Deadline is April 21st. Guidance

SKI/SNOWBOARD TRIP - How would you like to spend a day skiing/snowboarding at Teton Village and not have to drive or spend money for gas? Now you can. On Saturday, Feb. 9, there will be a ski trip to Teton Village sponsored by RHS. The bus will leave at the wonderful hour of 5:30am from the Career Center. We will be back by 9pm that day. Sign up at the office and pick up the necessary information. You will need to pay for your lift ticket and equipment rental, if you don't have your own. Hughes

LUNCHES: There will be no Cruising Café on Friday due to the Ron Thon Wrestling tourney. All lunches will be at the Career Center. Pizza Hut Pizza will be served. Office
