RIVERTON WOLVERINE AFGHANS: the sophomore class is selling very nice afghans with either a Wolverine or an R/Paw in the center. You can see the afghans in the high school commons area. The cost is $35 each. See Mrs. Griffin, Mrs. Iden or any sophomore class officer. Griffin

DECEMBER BROWN BAG LUNCH will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at lunch in the Media Center. The topic this month will be Teen Pregnancy and how it can alter your future plans. There will be a panel of presenters. As always, there will be free lunch so be sure that you sign up on the counter at the front desk by Monday the 17th at noon. Come and bring a friend. Hughes

HELP: R-Club is looking for any letterman interested in selling 50/50 raffle tickets at the Fremont County Shootout. If interested see Brit Emerson or Britni Luther for more details. Bauder

TRACK: Any student interested in pole vaulting for outdoor or indoor track this year needs to see Mr. Gopp before Christmas break. Gopp

CAN - Attention CAN members, come sign up for the drawing for great prizes from our Colorado Rockies tree. If your name is drawn you pick your prize, come by the CAN room and see what you would could win. We will have daily drawings through Dec.21st. Eckley

STUDENTS: As we near the end of the semester, we encourage all patrons with overdues to return the overdue materials to the library as soon as possible. Morrison

FBLA MEMBERS: We will have our Christmas Party Tuesday, December 18, lunchtime, @ the Career Center. FBLA will provide pizza and drinks. Come celebrate and don't forget to bring your $15 dues or you will not be eligible to compete at the State Conference in March! Asay

CULINARY CLASS will be having a restaurant at the Elk’s Lodge on Thursday, Dec. 20. We will be serving an early Christmas dinner; prices will be $9/person or $30/group of four. Times will be between 5-9pm. For more information contact a culinary arts student or Mrs. Rivers @ 851-9452. Rivers

STUDENTS: We will be offering a class next semester designed to give students the training and background necessary to work in the energy industry. This class will be offered zero hour from 7:00-7:55 am, Monday through Thursday here at Riverton High School. It will cover rig safety, exploration, production, environmental impact and information regarding all of the careers available within the energy industry. Students who successfully complete the program will be granted ½ credit toward graduation. If you are interested, stop by the guidance office to sign up or to receive more information. Flanagan

THE WALKING COMPETITION will end on Monday morning. Be sure that you turn your team's steps into Ms. McNamee by Tuesday AM. We will announce the winners on Wednesday. Health Committee

NEW STUDENTS taking CAREER INTERNSHIP and/or WORK EXPERIENCE next semester need to be in Mrs. Santee's room for a short, but mandatory, meeting Wednesday, Dec. 19 after school. Santee
