RIVERTON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS THUR., 12/20/07

ACTIVITIES: Today – Wrestling @ Cody, JV/V, 5/6pm

CULINARY CLASS will be having a restaurant at the Elk’s Lodge today between 5-9pm; prices will be $9/person or $30/group of four. For more information contact a culinary arts student or Mrs. Rivers @ 851-9452. Rivers

STUDENTS: We will be offering a class next semester designed to give students the training and background necessary to work in the energy industry. This class will be offered zero hour from 7:00-7:55 am, Monday through Thursday here at RHS. It will cover rig safety, exploration, production, environmental impact and information regarding all of the careers available within the energy industry. Students who successfully complete the program will be granted ½ credit toward graduation. If you are interested, stop by the guidance office to sign up or to receive more information. Flanagan

GET INVOLVED – get into the spirit of the season! Donate new and gently used books and stuffed animals to the Media Center Book Drive. Your name will go in the box for free weekly drawings, and then your club will be entered in the sled race to win a pizza party or cash award. Please bring in your donates today. KEY CLUB Party at Mrs. Hughes' at 7 PM. Get directions outside her office. Bring goodies and a wrapped white elephant. Also, don't forget that we will be taking down decorations on Friday, right after school. Everyone needs to be there so it will not take long. We will also need to deliver the poinsettias to the various Sr. housing complexes in town. Hughes

STUDENTS: would you like to participate in a Staff Trivia Contest? If so, pick up the sheet at the front desk at the high school or Career Center and see if you can win a prize. Contest sheets are due at the front desk by noon Friday. The person/persons with the most correct answers win. You must have the staff members’ signature for each question. Hughes
