ACTIVITIES:


STUDENTS: Celebrate Halloween and win some real treats when you enter the RHS Leadership pumpkin carving contest. Entries may be dropped off at Mrs. Talbott's classroom anytime today or Tuesday. Categories are Scary, Funny, Happy/Cute, Painted, Unique, and Staff entry. Pumpkins will be displayed in the Media Center. Judging will occur Wednesday morning and winners and prizes will be announced on Halloween, during 1st hour. Talbott

CAN MEMBERS! Sign up in the CAN room if you would like to carve a pumpkin for the contest. We will carve them today and Tuesday after school and during the Halloween Party from 6:30 to 9:00. Thornley

STUDENT COUNCIL is sponsoring a Halloween Costume Contest again this year. Categories will be funniest, scariest, most original, best homemade, group, and staff. We'll judge during the Halloween assembly, but be sure to sign up before the contest. Sign-up sheets are at the front office. Peart

HEY RHS!! We will be conducting a mock election Tuesday. ANY high school student can participate! Go to either room 242 or 127 computer labs at the high school. You may go to one of the labs before school, at lunch or after school to cast your vote. Richmond

HEY SENIORS!! If you are 18, you can rock the vote! Please sign up at the office to ride the "get out and vote" bus. If you have not registered to vote yet, you may do so at the polls on Election Day! Bring a photo I.D. You must sign up for the bus by November 2nd. We will leave at 1:50 and return about 2:30!! STUDENTS: October 29 through November 2 is RHS Club Hope “Be the Change” Week. Making sure that every student feels SAFE, LOVED and CELEBRATED. Please join us in creating the school of our dreams, by Joining RHS Club Hope and Being the Change you want to see in the world! Let us NOTICE what needs to be changed, CHOOSE an appropriate way to correct the problem, and then have the courage to follow through and ACT upon the choice you made. During this challenge week, we will be giving compliments and hugs. When giving a compliment you can choose to give the compliment face to face (which is the best way), write them a note, or send them a text. Be sure they are kind, uplifting and honest.
