STUDENTS: It's that time of year again!! The Kiwanis "Coats for Folks" is approaching. Please go through your closets and sort out the outgrown or no longer used coats that could help keep someone warm this winter. Please run any coats/hats/gloves or mittens that you wish to donate through the washer and then bring them to school to deposit in the box by the front desk. There is a box at both the HS and CC. The event will not take place till Nov. 13, but now is the time to donate. Thanks for helping out!! Hughes

SENIOR GIRLS interested in engineering or computer science, there is a new scholarship opportunity available to you! The Society of Women Engineers is offering a $1,000 scholarship to female students with high academic ability interested in math or science. The deadline is Feb. 1. Applications are available online at www.swe-rms.org. Guidance

NHS MEETING for seniors only on Thursday, October 21 at 7:20am in Mr. Stoehr's room. Please be on time. We will elect officers and discuss service projects for the fall. If you cannot attend please let Mr. Stoehr know ASAP. Stoehr
