CHADRON STATE COLLEGE is hosting "Eagle Open House Day" on October 11, 2010, for all students interested in the possibility of attending their college. Details are posted on the senior hall bulletin board and on their website.

NATIONAL GEAR UP DAY: Gear Up Wyoming will be hosting a “meet and greet” open house today from 2 to 6pm at the Fremont Room, Student Center room #103 at CWC. Join us for cookies and punch, sign our Gear Up poster and join us for a game of “college style BINGO”. Any student interested in attending before 3:35 MUST get parent approval to leave campus. ATTENTION SENIORS: Post High School Planning Day will be held at the Central Wyoming College gym on Monday, October 4 at 11:00. All of the colleges from the state of Wyoming and some from the surrounding states will be represented, as well as recruiters from the military. Any senior interested in attending will be excused from 4th period to do so. If you have any questions, please see your counselor. Guidance

PSAT: The PSAT test will be administered on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, beginning at 9:00a.m. Juniors who have earned a grade point average of 3.6 and above should consider taking this test. Just what is the PSAT? This test is the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. It is not required for admission to colleges nor does it increase your opportunities for scholarships. Please see your counselor for further information. The cost of the test is $13.00. Registration and payment is due by October 8; please see Mrs. King in the main office of RHS. NOTE: (Sophomores with a grade point average 3.8 and above may want to consider taking this test for practice, but will NOT be eligible for National Merit Scholarship consideration.) SENIORS: We will be putting the Senior Float together tonight after school @ Bob Lynch's shop located on the road between Gunner's and Fremont Motors. To ride on the float, you must have worked on the float or be dressed in an "Old Hollywood" costume! If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Adels or Ms. Asay-Glenn. Asay-Glenn

The community event starts at 6:00 with a chili supper sponsored by RJFL and ends with the burning of the R. Starting at around 7:30, we will have fun, games and light an R on fire...what could be better? Friday is the parade--get those floats ready! Richmond
