STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS RIVERTON HS WED., 3/17/10

ACTIVITIES:
Friday – Girls Soccer vs Sheridan, JV/V, 3/5pm

PLAN FOR A GREAT NIGHT at the Sophomore Class Spring Carnival on Friday. Everyone is invited. There will be food at great prices. The Fun on the Go Inflatable’s will be here with new items. Come check out the Human Sphere! Tickets are on sale at the door. Check out the posters in the halls. Bring all of your friends and make this a fun event. It will run from 5:30-8:30pm. Let this be a pre-MORP activity, making it a night to remember! Iden/Nimmo

ATTENTION SOPHOMORES: Our Spring Carnival is Friday. This is your fund raiser to earn enough money for your prom and graduation. We need you to sign up today in room 139. If you do not come and sign up we will assign you where we need you. Iden/Nimmo

SENIORS: The graduation decoration committee will be using photographs for part of the stage backdrop decorations. They would like to have photos of you and your friends. Because your photos will be used as decorations you will NOT be getting your photos back, so be sure to make a copy of your favorites. If you want to see the plan it is in Mrs. Asay-Glenn's room. Please bring photos to Mrs. Asay-Glenn or Mrs. Adels at the Career Center. Don't wait too long; graduation will be here sooner than you think. Adels

MORP: Girls ask guys. Don’t miss out on the MORP Glow Dance Friday at the Career Center from 8-11pm. CAN members pay $5, non CAN members pay $7 to get in (fee includes glow bracelet). Come and have a great time.

SENIORS there are three new scholarships available on the guidance counter: P.E.O., Chapter AP local scholarship for $300 - $600 range, Deadline is April 15. Strube Memorial Scholarship for $2,000 for an outstanding female graduate with a B average. Deadline is April 15. Fran Galey Memorial Scholarship for any senior with a 3.0 GPA planning on majoring in a field of science. This scholarship can be used at an in-state or out-of-state school. Deadline is April 15. TRACK is still trying to reach the goal of 70 athletes on the team. Last day to join track is this Friday. Gopp

SENIORS: If you didn't pick up your order from Josten's, you can pick it up in room 4 (Asay-Glenn) at the Career Center. You must have the exact change or check. CONGRATULATIONS to the Meat Judging Team for placing 2nd in Sheridan. Walter Crofts placed High Individual. Mikenzie Taylor placed 2nd High Individual in Ag Sales and Ty Jones placed 1st with his Steer in Class at the Mountain States Beef Expo. Way to go! Styvar
