SKI TRIP - Want to hit the slopes the day after we get out for Christmas. We are taking a bus to White Pine Ski area on Dec. 20th. You may sign up at the front desk and get your information sheet with all of the details. You must have them turned back in by noon on Monday, Dec. 15. FCCLA: don't forget our Christmas party Monday, Dec. 15th from 5:00 to 8 p.m. in room #259. If you can't be there right at 5:00 please let Mrs. Rivers know what time you will be able to come, that way Santa won't be there until you can get to the party. APPLICATION DAYS ABOUND! The following colleges will be on the RHS campus to provide assistance with the application process, financial aid information, housing information, etc. Please sign up for an appointment on the sheets provided in the guidance department on the front counter. Monday, December 15 - Laramie County Community College (LCCC) beginning at 1:00. Tuesday, December 16 - Central Wyoming College (CWC) beginning at 12:30. Wednesday, December 17 - Casper College beginning at 1:00. Guidance

SCHOLARSHIPS: Seniors interested in hunting and enrolling in college should stop by the guidance office and apply for the National Wild Turkey Federation's Academic Scholarship. GPA must be at least 3.0; awards vary from $250 to $10,000. Deadline is Jan. 1. Seniors, are you continuing your education in a WY college, university or trade school? Are you interested in business or transportation majors? If so, apply for the WY Trucking Assoc. Scholarship. Awards will range from $500 to $1,000. Deadline is March 6. Applications for both of these scholarships are available in the guidance department. Guidance

JUNIORS: a great opportunity awaits you if you have at least a 2.75 cumulative grade point average during your 9th and 10th grades and demonstrate accomplishments in community service and leadership and has faced a significant roadblock or challenge. This is a $30,000 scholarship, deadline is Jan. 31. Apply online at www.applyists.net. Guidance
