SUMMER EXCHANGE: Riverton Rotary Club is researching exchange programs. Students will spend 3 weeks exploring another country and then their “host brother/sister” returns home with them for a 3 week period. Exchanges are typically in June, July and August. Students must be between the ages of 15-19. Applications for this program are due by the end of January. If interested contact Lori Ridgway at 855-2325 or 850-7803.

CAREER PORTFOLIO: Students completing portfolio independently that still need to do an interview, please schedule one with Mrs. Santee for Tuesday, Dec. 11. This is the last time! Santee

ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SOPHOMORES: High Plains Power is having a Youth Leadership Camp July 11-17. The primary objective of the camp is to provide an educational experience for young people on the organization and operation of a cooperative. Applications are available in Guidance. Guidance

CHRISTMAS DANCE this Friday from 8 to 11 PM in the Commons Area. Please dress up in your Christmas duds to show your Christmas spirit. There will be prizes and even a dance contest. Cost is $6/person or $5 if you bring a can of food to donate to the Good Samaritan Center. School ID’s are required. Hope to see everyone there for a great time. Key Club

FESTIVAL OF TREES - The Fremont County Business Leadership Network is sponsoring the Festival of Trees event this week. Tonight is the family night at the Armory, beginning at 3PM for a free look. Activities begin at 6 PM and there will be a moderate charge. There will also be a hayride at the same time, sponsored by the Riverton Chamber of Commerce. The actual event and tree auction will be on Thursday evening. Volunteers are needed all this week to assist during the day with set up, with the actual events today and Thursday and with clean up and take down on Friday. If you can help at anytime during the day or evening please call Bev Borges at 840-6695. Call Gay Hughes at 851-4782 if you can assist with the events today or Thursday.
