RIVERTON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS THUR., 11/29/07

SKILLS USA MEETING today at 12:10 in Mr. Gopp’s room at the Career Center. Get involved. Gopp

COME SUPPORT your Riverton Wolverine Drama Team as they perform The Taming of the Shrew at the State Drama Competition today. All students are invited to attend this hilarious Shakespeare play in one act. The show will begin at 8:00 p.m. at the CWC Arts Center and will end at 8:30. Admission is free. Thornton

STUDENTS: The author of The Night Wanderer, Drew Hayden Taylor, is coming to the Riverton Branch Library today at 7:00 p.m. He will be doing book signings as well as talking about his Native American vampire book. Also, there will be a book talk during the Multicultural Club lunch in the high school Media Center today. All students are welcome, and we will be holding a drawing for a free copy of the book during the lunch. Morrison

CHRISTMAS DANCE - The annual Christmas Dance will be Saturday, Dec. 8 in the commons area. Make your plans to attend and get into the Christmas spirit. Cost will be $6/person, but if you bring a canned good to donate to the Good Samaritan Center you can get in for $5. There will be prizes for the best holiday dress.
