STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS RIVERTON HS TUES., 9/20/11

ACTIVITIES:

Today – Tennis @ home vs Rock Springs




GEAR UP WYOMING STUDENTS: starting today there will be after school study hall from 3:30-4:30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in room 25 at the Career Center. Pettit

DECA: There will be a DECA meeting for all current members and all people wanting to get involved today at lunch in Krieger's room. We will be discussing MEC. Krieger

ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB meets Wednesday at lunch in Ms. Miller’s room. Miller

SPEECH AND DEBATE - There will be a speech and debate meeting at lunch in room 114 on Thursday. We will discuss events for the year as well as freshmen recruitment. Please bring your lunch. Thornton

BLOOD DRIVE - The first Blood Drive of the year, sponsored by Key Club, is coming on Tuesday, Oct. 4. Please stop by the Guidance Office and sign up. Be sure to take an information sheet. You may give at age 16, if you meet the criteria listed on the sheet. However, you must have parent permission. If you are 18 that is not necessary, but everyone must bring a picture ID with them. Please put down your phone number so we can remind you the night before. If you have questions, see Mrs. Hughes in the Career Center, or Mrs. Peart in the HS. Hughes

CULINARY ARTS CLUB/FCCLA will have a meeting on Wednesday at 3:45 p.m. in room #259, the Culinary Arts Room. Agenda will include information about attending a fall conference, tasty snacks, and yearly planning. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Rivers. Rivers

SENIORS: Please see Mrs. Weber at the Career Center to start signing the stole for your graduation gowns. All signatures need to be on the stole by Thursday, October 6. Don’t delay, get it done today. Asay/Weber
