ASVAB: There is a sign-up sheet in the Guidance Office for all students interested in taking the ASVAB (Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery) exam on Thursday, February 18. The test will be administered in Mrs. Rivers' room (259) at 8:00 a.m. The deadline to sign up is today. Irvine

ATTENTION ALL JUNIOR GIRLS! The American Legion Auxiliary will be hosting Girls State June 5-12 at Northwest Community College. This is a fabulous opportunity to learning about the various aspects of state government, the judicial system, campaigning for office, etc. If you are interested, please pick up an application in the Guidance Department. RIVERTON LEGION BASEBALL PLAYERS: mark February 15 on your calendars. No you don’t have school that day. We are kicking off our banner fundraiser at 10am sharp at High Plains Power in Riverton. We will be going out in teams to raise resources for the upcoming season. This is a mandatory get-together if you’re interested in playing Raiders baseball this year. ENCANA is announcing their $10,000 scholarship for seniors interested in engineering, geology, or geophysics. Eligible applicants will be considered on the basis of 75% academic achievement and 25% on other aspects of the application. Deadline is April 1. This application must be returned to the guidance department. Guidance

WANTED: Student representatives to serve on the RHS Health Committee. We would like to have at least one person from each grade. Right now the committee is making plans for the 2010 version of the Spring Fling and they would like some student input. If you are interested, see Mrs. Griffin or Mrs. Hammer. MRS. MURRAY would like to thank all of those who participated in Poetry Out Loud on February 10th! The school champion who will go on to represent our school in Cheyenne on March 1st and 2nd is Jamie Fegler. Our runner up is Mitchell Thornton. Congratulations! Murray
