SENIORS: Please check in with your homeroom teacher on Monday and if you are not on the D & F list, please come to room 4 (Ms. Asay-Glenn’s room) at the Career Center to pick up your packet from Jostens. If you are unable to pick up the packet during home room, please pick it up ASAP. You will need to return this packet with the height and weight section filled out to the Jostens Rep on Friday, Oct. 9 from 11am – 1 pm in the Media Center. You will also need to check on the spelling of your name (for your diploma). Asay-Glenn

BLOOD DRIVE - It is that time again. Wednesday, Oct. 7 Key Club will be sponsoring their first Blood Drive of the 2009-2010 school year. It will start at 2 PM and run till 7 PM in the Career Center. This year, for the very first time, you may donate with parent permission at age 16. Be sure that you meet the listed criteria before you sign up. If you are 17 yrs. old you will need the parent permission slip as well. You must bring the signed permission slip and a photo ID with you to the blood drive. All ages must bring their ID. If you have traveled to certain countries or had a tattoo or piercing recently you may be unable to donate. The sign up sheet and Parent Permission slips for the Blood Drive are on the counter at the Guidance Office. Please be sure you list your phone number/e-mail on the sign-up sheet. Key Club

SENIORS interested in a career in Government can enter an essay contest for a $500 - $5,000 scholarship. Details are available in the guidance department and at www.gwcf.org. Deadline is Jan 15th. Guidance

POST HIGH SCHOOL PLANNING DAY: Tuesday, Oct. 6 @ CWC gym. All seniors wishing to attend will be excused 4th period. Juniors may also attend with parent permission. This is your opportunity to visit with admissions reps from various colleges throughout the region to discuss financial aid, scholarships, program offerings, etc. See guidance for further details.
