STARS OF TOMORROW - The competition is coming soon. Sign up forms are available at the front desk and outside Mrs. Hughes office in the Career Center. Entries need to be received by Wednesday. If you have questions, see Mrs. Hughes. Hughes

TRACK MEETING for all athletes and parents today in the Career Center at 7:00pm Gopp

ALL FEMALE STUDENTS - Soroptimists is offering scholarships for two of the classes being offered through the Spring 2008 Community Outreach program. The scholarships are available for: "Self-Defense and Assault Prevention" and "I Choose Me." If you think you might be interested in participating in either of these classes and would like to attend stop my Mrs. Hughes' office in the Career Center and pick up a scholarship application. Applications are due by March 10. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Hughes. Hughes

ACT TEST PREP SCHEDULES: Science meets today, Wednesday and Thursday in room 526 from 7-8am. Math meets today, Wednesday and Thursday in room 504 from 7-8am. Reading/English meets today through Friday in the Media Center from 7-8am. Take advantage of these sessions. Williams/Gosnell

FRESHMEN: UW is offering an Energy Summer Institute in Laramie from June 8 - 21. Applicants should be excellent, well-rounded 9th graders. Program information and student application packets are available in guidance. Guidance

SENIORS: Are you interested in career opportunities in the Natural Gas Industry? Information on scholarships, paid summer internships and jobs is available in the guidance office. Guidance

SCHOLARSHIPS: Local P.E.O. Chapter AP scholarship applications are available in the guidance office. Value ranges from $300 - $ 600. Deadline is April 15th. The Scott Memorial Scholarship applications are available in the guidance department. Award amount is $2,500, deadline is March 15th. Guidance

AG CAREER TOUR: Any student interested in attending the Ag Career Tour March 5-6 needs to turn in their permission form to Mrs. Santee or Mr. Styvar by Friday. Santee

SKILLS USE MEETING Thursday at 12:10 in Mr. Gopp’s room at the Career Center. Gopp

WOLVERINE READERS: The Media Center has a variety of discarded books available for you to take home. Stop by Ms. Morrison's office if you want to pick one out. Morrison

SKI TRIP: you need to get signed up and your paperwork turned in to Mrs. Hughes or the front desk by Wednesday. Paperwork is available at the desk. If you went the last time and still want to go, you still need to sign up. Hughes

BOYS SOCCER MEETING Wednesday at 11:55 in Mr. Nyberg’s room for all boys interested in playing. Cornejo

NUTRITION FACT FOR TODAY: The next time someone says “Eat like a pig,” take it as a compliment! Pigs don’t overeat, and their diet is the closest to the human diet than any other animal. Hughes
