They will be selling through Thursday before school, at lunch and after school at the front desk. SCHOLARSHIPS: EnCana Oil & Gas Scholarship, up to $10,000 over a 4 year period. Must be entering the field of engineering or department of geology or geophysics at an accredited university or a technical or trades program relative to the oil and gas industry. Deadline is March 24. Veteran's Memorial Scholarship, $500, minimum 2.5 GPA and you must have a relative (living or deceased) who was in the armed forces to qualify. Deadline is April 30. Riverton Lions Club Scholarship, two $500 scholarships, a balance of academic and leadership is needed to qualify. Deadline is April 1. Wyoming Weed & Pest Scholarship, $1,000 for two students, must pursue a major in agriculture or natural resources, no minimum GPA required. Deadline is March 6. Riverton Rotary Foundation Scholarship, $500 - $1,500. Deadline is April 1. PEO Chapter AP Scholarship, $300 - $600. Deadline is April 15. WY Architectural Foundation Scholarship. SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS, & SENIORS: The Wyoming Hunting & Fishing Heritage Expo is offering an Essay competition. The theme is "Habitat...The Heart of Wildlife". This is a 250 to 500 word essay contest.
