The Horatio Alger Assoc. is offering scholarships for seniors who have financial need and have exhibited integrity & perseverance in overcoming personal adversity. REMINDER: School photo retakes are Monday, September 29. Please plan to have your picture taken by Lehman Studio if you did not get a picture taken before school. If you want your mug shot to be in the yearbook you MUST get a picture taken by Lehman. You DO NOT have to purchase any pictures to have your photo taken. Report to homeroom and your teacher will send you down for your picture. Kirkland

FCCLA: There is an FCCLA meeting Tuesday at 6:00 P.M. in room #259, Mrs. Rivers’ room. We will provide you with a simple supper. We will finalize plans for our trip to Thermopolis on Wednesday, October 1st. If you have not received a permission form for the Wednesday trip stop by Mrs. Rivers' room any afternoon.

THE LADY WOLVERINE BASKETBALL TEAM is hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament on Saturday, October 11. Teams can be made up of up to five girls with a $20 registration fee. Forms can be picked up at the front office and turned in to Mr. Miller before Wednesday, Oct. 8. Miller

ANYONE INTERESTED in making $8.00 per hour, I need timers for the Girls Pre-Swim invite and Invite this Friday and Saturday. Meet begins at 5:00 on Friday and at 9:00am on Saturday. Please see Mrs. Bell if you are interested... Bell

STUDENTS: We hope that some of you are enjoying the basketball hoop in the back of the school. Now we have a ping pong table located in the Career Center just outside the CAN room. Any student may use it. You will need to check out balls and a paddle from Mrs. Eckley in the CAN room. You must leave your student ID and purchase a ball for $.50. If everything is returned in order, you can get you ID and your $.50 back - no exceptions. If you want to keep the ball or you destroy it, we keep the $.50. If you destroy the paddles you will be fined $8 per paddle. If the ping pong table goes over well, and doesn’t get abused, we may purchase another one. Health Committee
