To receive this scholarship you must demonstrate need, the deadline is April 27th. The Robert Byrd Honors Scholarship is valued at $1,500. This scholarship is awarded based on merit and can be renewed for up to three years. You must have at least a 3.8 GPA. The deadline is March 19.

ENCANA is announcing their $10,000 scholarship for seniors interested in engineering, geology, or geophysics. Eligible applicants will be considered on the basis of 75% academic achievement and 25% on other aspects of the application. Deadline is April 1. SOUPER BOWL: RHS FCCLA students have designated this week as a “Souper Bowl of Caring” Week. The BIG Game “Super Bowl 44” is this coming Sunday, so RHS FCCLA members would like to ask the freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors to celebrate Super Bowl 44 by participating in the “Super Bowl of Caring” week. All you have to do is bring cans of soup to the high school front counter and place them in the box marked with your class. These cans will be donated to the Riverton Food Store House and the homeless shelter. The class with the most cans of soup (at least 100 cans donated) will receive a future homeroom early out. This contest will run until Monday, Feb 8th. The cans will then be counted and the winners announced by Friday, Feb. 11th. Remember it is all about the “Souper Bowl of Caring”. Rivers

SOUPER BOWL: RHS FCCLA students have designated this week as a “Souper Bowl of Caring” Week. The BIG Game “Super Bowl 44” is this coming Sunday, so RHS FCCLA members would like to ask the freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors to celebrate Super Bowl 44 by participating in the “Super Bowl of Caring” week. All you have to do is bring cans of soup to the high school front counter and place them in the box marked with your class. These cans will be donated to the Riverton Food Store House and the homeless shelter. The class with the most cans of soup (at least 100 cans donated) will receive a future homeroom early out. This contest will run until Monday, Feb 8th. The cans will then be counted and the winners announced by Friday, Feb. 11th. Remember it is all about the “Souper Bowl of Caring”. Rivers

There are also four other scholarships available with preference given to those who choose a major in the College of Agriculture or have an agriculture background. Deadline is April 15th for all four. The new scholarship applications are available for the LDS Alumni Scholarships. These scholarships are worth approximately $500 - $800. The deadline is March 26. The Architectural Foundation of WY will award up to $10,000 in multiple scholarships to WY students of architecture. Scholarships are based on need, ability, desire, determination and potential. Deadline is April 15.
