THE CULINARY ARTS PROSTART COMPETITION was held in Jackson, WY Feb. 12 & 14. Congratulations to Chans Woolery and Jimmy Johnson for being awarded the silver medal for the West Mex contest. The Management Team; James Jeude, Jessica Thompson, Marisela Roman, and JD Rockne received the bronze medal placing third in that event. Each of the team members received a $500 scholarship from Johnson & Wales University; the scholarship is renewable for four years with a total value of $2000. Good job! Rivers

COME TO THE 26th Annual Close Up Night at Pizza Hut. It’s all the pizza you can eat and all the pop you can drink in a 50 minute session. Sessions are at 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 and cost is $6.00. This is a school sanctioned activity so school behavior rules are in effect. Make plans for you and your friends to come to Pizza Hut tonight for some great pizza and a great time. Chouinard

If you are interested in the oil & gas industry, applications are available in guidance for a $10,000 EnCana scholarship. MENINGITIS SHOT CLINIC - Seniors, if you are planning to go away to school or to the military next year, you need to get your shot to protect you against meningitis. The permission slips were in the most recent school newsletter that was mailed to your house. If you do not have one, stop by the nurse's office and get one from Mr. DeClue. The shot only costs $10 and public health needs to know by Wednesday so that they can order the vaccine for the Feb. 20 clinic. If you wait to get the shot it will cost you $100. Hughes

MENINGITIS SHOT CLINIC - Seniors, if you are planning to go away to school or to the military next year, you need to get your shot to protect you against meningitis. The permission slips were in the most recent school newsletter that was mailed to your house. If you do not have one, stop by the nurse's office and get one from Mr. DeClue. The shot only costs $10 and public health needs to know by Wednesday so that they can order the vaccine for the Feb. 20 clinic. If you wait to get the shot it will cost you $100. Hughes
