CONGRATULATIONS to the wrestlers for placing 4th at the Brave Brawl in Star Valley this past weekend defeating Evanston 60-16, Madison Idaho 40-24, Cokeville 45-30, Jackson 64-13, Lander 40-30, and Teton Idaho 52-13. They lost very close matches to Highland, Idaho, Star Valley and Logan, Utah. The wrestlers will travel to Worland this weekend for the Battle in the Bighorns. Parry

FESTIVAL OF TREES - The Fremont County Business Leadership Network is sponsoring the Festival of Trees event this week. Tonight is the family night at the Armory, beginning at 3PM for a free look. Activities begin at 6 PM and there will be a moderate charge. There will also be a hayride at the same time, sponsored by the Riverton Chamber of Commerce. The actual event and tree auction will be on Thursday evening. Volunteers are needed all this week to assist during the day with set up, with the actual events today and Thursday and with clean up and take down on Friday. Students will spend 3 weeks exploring another country and then their “host brother/sister” returns home with them for a 3 week period. Exchanges are typically in June, July and August. THE FIRST KEY CLUB BLOOD DRIVE of the year is coming soon. It will take place in the Career Center this Wednesday from 2 to 7 PM. You can sign up at the Guidance Office. You must be at least 17 to give, but must have parent permission. Pick up a form when you sign up and bring it with you. If you are 18 or over, no permission is necessary. All you need to do is sign up. Please include your phone number so you can be given a reminder call the night prior. Everyone needs to bring an ID with them the day of the draw. Please be sure you drink lots of water that day. Also, when you sign up, please read through the criteria for eligibility which is taped to the counter top. There are limitations from some foreign travel, tattoos and risk behaviors. Be sure to check those out. If you have questions, call Mrs. Hughes at Ext. 4007. Hughes

THE FIRST KEY CLUB BLOOD DRIVE of the year is coming soon. It will take place in the Career Center this Wednesday from 2 to 7 PM. You can sign up at the Guidance Office. You must be at least 17 to give, but must have parent permission. Pick up a form when you sign up and bring it with you. If you are 18 or over, no permission is necessary. All you need to do is sign up. Please include your phone number so you can be given a reminder call the night prior. Everyone needs to bring an ID with them the day of the draw. Please be sure you drink lots of water that day. Also, when you sign up, please read through the criteria for eligibility which is taped to the counter top. There are limitations from some foreign travel, tattoos and risk behaviors. Be sure to check those out. If you have questions, call Mrs. Hughes at Ext. 4007. Hughes

WRESTLERS will have open room next Monday and Tuesday morning from 6:30- 7:30 and Wednesday after school from 4:00 to 5:30. Wrestling beginning of the season meeting will be Thursday at 6:00pm in the Career Center. All Wrestlers need to be in attendance with a parent or guardian. NO Exceptions will be made.
